	An open letter from Paula to the poets of Hampton Roads, those from the Southside in particular: Hello Poets, I hope you are having a good summer.  If Open Page wants to hold a Poetry Sharing Night in the fall, I havae to let the VBHEC staff know.  I am not able to run the whole show again this fall, so I will not be producing a Soundings booklet.  We also do not have the money to finance a bartender, but we can bring in appetizers.  Is there energy out there for organizing and holding some sort of Open Mic event or not?  We seem to have a number of those events going on all the time now.  does anyone have any ideas or wish to help plan something?  Please respond if you are interested.  Also, I do not plan to lead writing sessions in the fall as very few of you have indicated interest in those or shown up for the last few sessions.  But others are welcome to take over this responsibilty if you wish.  Thanks for your responses.           Paula Justice           pjustice@odu.edu
