Because a major computer crash last year wiped out my access to all the poetry files received for Vol VII and my records of who'd paid $5, We must  ask you to please resubmit your poems or submit new ones now. Note the new deadline. Please alert me in your re-submissions whether you recall paying the $5 (consult your checkbook, your cover letter, or other records to recall whether you paid your submission fee for Vol VII. I appologize for the inconvenience and hope to have the book on the street in November.  We are now accepting Submissions (and re-submissions) for SKIPPING STONES Vol VII (2011) until midnight June 30.  Must be digital.  A $5 fee lets you submit up to five poems. See guidelines at the bottom of the page for payment.

Please refrain from submitting poems presented in exotic visual arrangements.  Form (sonnet, villanel, lymric, free verse, etc), subject, length as the author writes.  We can receive poems formatted in MS Word (.doc), word pad (.rtf), or PDF (.pdf) files. We can accept only digital copy. Art and Photography may be submitted in .jpg format with a $5 submission fee for up to 30 photos.   All text in Times New Roman 12 pt font.

Note: Submission includes implicit permission to publish your poem(s) on the website or in promotional material unless you specifically request in writing that it be confined to only the book.  You, the author, retain copyright in any case. **

Note on line lengths:  to fit within the margins, any line of text in your poem longer than 54 characters may cause the line break to abuse your poem or compell us to impose an arbitraty line break. So beware lines of excessive length.

1.  Send your submission and brief biograph by e-mail attachment or in the text of the e-post OR send a CD/ROM, DVD/DVR, USB portable drive, Compact Flash or SD by USPS or UPS/FEDEX etc to the address at the bottom of the page.

2.  Enclose a brief cover letter so I know who you are and check or money order for $5 made out to me (there's no corporate account)

3.  Enclose a SASE if you want your material returned.

4.  Mailing directions below.

Note:  Each submitting author is entitled to purchase an author's copy at a $5 discount. Additional copies will be available at a reduced price to be determined by publication costs.
